Small comments on today's articles in Perugia newspapers: I imagine the journalist is using the words of the Perugia team leaders. About my discussion with Recine at Monza: an agent's job is to talk about the future of his clients. It is true that I told Recine when we discussed Bernardi's future that "considering Bernardi is one of the best in the world, that he should have a high salary and that future contracts should be higher". This is a daily talk between an agent and a club. I discuss with Recine weekly. In the same way, very often, for professional players and high level coaches, there is interest from other clubs to try to acquire them. This is the reality of the business and happens very frequently. On the fact that Bernardi was not focused on his work because some teams called him and because his manager asked for an increase two months ago: these are not serious matters. We live in a world where there are daily talks about players / coaches, massive daily communications to help each other and exchange information. This is our standard today. My discussions with Perugia have no impact on Bernardi's work. Players know Bernardi's work and dedication for this team. To conclude: with the declarations coming from Perugia, it seems that Perugia is trying to justify the fact that they may have decided to stop cooperation with Bernardi. Lorenzo clearly stated his desire to stay in Perugia, he has a contract for another year. If Perugia wants to stop with Bernardi, they should come to the table.
